There are two separate types of approvals :
- Planning Permission
- Building Warrant Approval
CC Architectural can guide you through the Planning Permission process. Planning is generally in relation to the external appearance of your project, the use of the space and how it affects the surroundings.
Some smaller projects can be exempt from permission (Permitted Development).
CC Architectural will work with you to develop your design from initial sketches to compled scale drawing in cad with 3D sketch if required. We then submit documents for the Planners.
If time is of the essence, we can progress the building warrant package during the planning stage. Building warrant is a separate process summarised below.
Building Warrant Approval
An approved Building Warrant is a set of technical documents (drawings / specification / calculations) demonstrating your project meets the current technical standards. This will include the relevant structural, fire, insulation, energy, drainage and space requirements.
CC Architectural will also advise on the requirement for and help appoint a qualified Structural Engineer to accompany the architectural package.
The two packages are coordinated and submitted as an application to your local authority.
Fees
Architects generally do not advertise their fees. Please do not hesitate to contact in whichever way your are comfortable with to discuss your project to get specific advice on consultants fee for your project.
